Lotus Temple visit- India (Delhi) Bucket list

Hey Lovelies,

Was crazy busy with a few commitments. I’m back!! For those on my Instagram, has been kept updated with what is going on. I’ve been upto a bit of busy breakfast days and a bit of peaceful travel. I am planning up a vacation soon enough. (Cant hold the excitement!!)

Delhi weather is getting better and warmer. A slight chill, but overall a very lovely weather. So, if any of you plan a Delhi trip-  the time is NOW!!

Bae took me to Lotus temple over the weekend. It has been in my Bucket list for long. The weather was awesome and the place was beautiful. It s a temple related to the Bahai Faith. Very peaceful and calm place good for a meditation or some inner energy channeling. One in my Delhi Bucket list- Check!

I was feeling a deep wine colorish that day. Teamed up my little wine dress to a wine handbag and subtle wine lips to match. Talk about Obsessed!! It was windy and my hair was all over the place. Sorry about the hazy pictures.

We had to remove footwear to get to the meditation center. Absolute silence engulfed the entire crowd. The Volunteers were helpful in explaining to us about their faith. This temple is open to all religions, though the Bahais are related to the Shia Sect( The follower of Prophet Ali, who was son in law of Prophet Mohammad) of Muslim Religion.

The Bahá’í House of Worship in Delhi, India, popularly known as the Lotus Temple due to its flower like shape, is a Bahá’í House of Worship and also a prominent attraction in Delhi. It was completed in 1986 and serves as the Mother Temple of the Indian subcontinent. It has won numerous architectural awards and been featured in hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles.
