You guys probably know my love for sugar scrubs. I had earlier told you how to make coffee sugar scrub to fight cellulite. If you missed it, you can read it here. Just last week, me and my hubby celebrated our anniversary and as usual, he got me a bunch of roses.
After a day, it dawned on me that these roses are going to wilt soon. They were beautiful and fresh! I wanted to preserve their deep color and smell. The DIy bug in me woke up with a brilliant idea! why not make a sugar scrub for the winters!! Perfect!!
4 Ingredient Rose Sugar Scrub
- Rose petals (dry ones can work too!)- as much as you like. I used about 8 roses
- Rose water – 1/3 cup
- Granulated sugar (fine grain): 1.5 cup
- Olive Oil – 1/2 cup
- Rose Oil (optional)- few drops
In a mixer, powder the rose petals. Add in the sugar and oilve oil and give a quick blend without turning the sugar into a powder. If you have a fine grain sugar, you dont have to do this. Pour in the rose water and stir in with a spoon. You can use rose oil as well if you don’t want rose water. Transfer into a pretty jar and keep it by your bathroom shelf for easy access. You can also refrigerate it.
Let me know if you make it and how you like it.
