I am a sucker for natural & organic products. When it comes to my little boy, I’m extra wary about this and prefer just natural products to be applied on his baby skin. In the search for 100% natural products, I came across this quaint little store online called Okmaa’s Little Shop. They sell homemade & natural baby and kids products. I had already reviewed a few products of their partner company called Bear Necessity.
They were quite prompt in sending me over a few of their amazing baby stuff for me to try. They send me a Baby Rose Oil, a Star-shaped lotion Bar and the best Nappy cream I have ever used (I mean my little boy) . Just look at the beautiful packaging.
The 100% natural Nappy Rash cream is made of shea butter, virgin coconut oil, bentonite clay, lavender essential oil and chamomile essential oil. It smells wonderful in a way as it opens up your senses. In winters I find it gets too thick due to the coconut oil content in it. I’ve not had a case of nappy rash ever since this cream.
The Rose oil from Okmaa’s Little Shop is made of apricot kernel oil, extra virgin olive oil and rose otto essential oil. It smells like a bouquet of roses. The smell is so relaxing, I have been using it for my little boy’s massage.
The star lotion was too pretty to be used- and frankly I was a bit confused how to use it. I figured out that rubbing it in between my palms and applying was the best way – although this destroyed the adorable star shape.
In winters, I found it difficult to rub the star lotion bar and nappy rash cream as both of them tend to solidify. I keep it in the sun for a few minutes before using.
Overall I am mighty happy with the Okmaa’s Little Shop products and will be re-ordering the Nappy rash cream- the best I have used so far.
